id Software's Graeme Devine updated his .plan with a brief announcement that the next version of Quake III Arena should be released tonight. Here is the cryptic description of exactly what version this will be:

The pre-release of the alpha for the forthcoming beta of the pre-build of the next point release should be out tonight. Details to follow from Robert Duffy.
