It seems a player elected to the Council of Stellar Management took advantage of the information about upcoming changes to which members of the council are privy to engage in some insider trading. This involved as much as 5 billion of the game's ISK, and as a result, the player has resigned, and further his accounts have been banned, as this falls outside of the skullduggery the game celebrates, and is a violation of the game's EULA.
