Eurogamer has word on plans for a
Clash of the Titans game that will
tie in with the
upcoming remake
of the
1981 movie noteworthy
for its Ray Harryhausen stop-motion special effects. The game is in the works at
independent Japanese developer Game Republic to be published by Namco Bandai,
and while details (including target platforms) are scarce, they do describe a
brief GamesCom demo movie depicting "huge minotaurs swinging axes, dragons
swooping over snowy landscapes, chicks with horns, wings and tiny bikinis and
that sort of thing." The game is due for release alongside the movie this coming
spring.
