The
Splash Damage interview on PC Games Hardware is a conversation with Splash
Damage Technical Director Arnout van Meer to dig for details about
BRINK, the upcoming action game built
on id Software's Tech 4 engine. The game is being developed for Windows, Xbox
360, and PlayStation 3, and the conversation takes particular interest in how
they will take advantage of PC hardware, discussing Virtual Texturing and other
advanced rendering features, multi-core CPU support, physics simulation, Windows
XP support, why they probably won't support Direct X 11, and more. BRINK is
currently slated for release in Spring 2010.
