IndustryGamers has a statement from Blizzard on indications
that the relaunch of World of Warcraft in China might be facing legal
hurdles. Blizzard says the transition to NetEase as their Chinese operator is
"very far along," saying: "We don't have an exact relaunch date quite yet, but
we're very far along in the transition process-our infrastructure is ready, we
just launched the new official community website in China, warcraftchina.com,
and opened up the Battle.net account system to players there, meaning players
are now able to convert their World of Warcraft accounts in preparation for the
relaunch. We'll have more information to share as we complete the transition."
