Responding to earlier reports that GAPP had appointed the Shanghai bureau to investigate the JV and that NetEase and Blizzard would face punishment if the JV was involved in domestic game operation, a related NetEase chief said "the content of this report is seriously inaccurate and its main points and language are inconsistent with the truth," Southcn.com reported July 15.
