Activision to incorporate WON.net's Internet integration and multiplayer technologies in upcoming product line-up.
Bellevue, WA - September 7, 1999 - Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI), a leading worldwide developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment and leisure products, and WON.net, dedicated to integrating the Internet into gaming, today jointly announced a strategic content partnership, whereby WON.net will leverage Activision's strong brand and industry leading products to broaden the depth of its product offering and strengthen its position as a leading, multi-publisher game portal.
As part of the agreement, WON.net's online multiplayer tools will be integrated into nine upcoming Activision titles. WON.net will be providing Activision with international solutions, access to the over two million registered users worldwide, and dedicated content areas on WON.net's web site (http://www.won.net).
Activision titles included in the
partnership are Vampire: The Masquerade(tm), Interstate '82(tm), Dark Reign(R)
II, Shanghai(R): Dynasty, Shanghai(R): Second Dynasty, Star Trek(R): Armada,
