March 13, 1998.	Slide on over to my newly opened site, the House of Mouse. Weird happenings today, I must say..
March 1, 1998.	I'm back :) Various updates made, so hopefully I'm mostly caught up.
February 2, 1998.	Apologies for the dearth of updates.. I'll be away in Alicante, España, from the third to the 23rd of February. Have a nice day.
January 23, 1998.	Added a bunch of new terms.
January 17, 1998.	Even though I may not say so here, I do update these pages regularly. Recently, I've updated the QI addons and QII addons pages, and of course made corrections concerning the transition the QII. A few days from now (jan 20) will mark the 9th month-birthday of this lexicon. The news archive page notes 4/20, but I think I just forgot what month it was :)
December 7, 1997.	Quake II cometh. In preparation, I've cleaned the glossary, removing references to Quake I specific items. In addition, here comes a new section: the History of..., covering everything cut out of the quakEncyclo.. err the Glossary, and a bit more.

October 19, 1997.	my new site, profile, has launched. profile is a site dedicated to listing, reviewing, and making new interviews

October 2, 1997.	i just posted a list of 100 acronyms relating to quake

September 27, 1997: 30,000 hits since may 1, 1997! today is also qE's 150th day on the planet

September 20, 1997: I've been busy with school, so please excuse my general slowness in keeping the encyclopedia/who's who up-to-date

August 27, 1997: I just picked up a hardcopy of the New Hacker's Dictionary, a reference work which has definitely influenced me when I was putting together this site.. get a copy today!

August 24, 1997: moved addons/TCs to a seperate page, deleted some doubly referenced definitions. check out my quake bloopers page

August 15, 1997: gave the site a facelift :)

August 9, 1997: made massive updates, split large text chunks into paragraphs..

August 8, 1997: i'm back

July 3, 1997: sadly, I will be away for five weeks doing research starting tomorrow, so updates will few and far between..

May 28, 1997: i composed my thoughts and wrote a long recap of M3. QNG: quake newbie guide by Dakota (with some of my help) opens today @ planetquake.com/qng. you'll notice QNG and qE are crosslinked at various locations.. nifty.

4/21/97: bad idea: email people about your site->be unable to upload the html for 5 hours (funky shell server+5 hours ctf4.0) ...fixed some tag problems. D'OH mispeld 'quakEncyClopedia', umm my version is more mellifluous
