Important:
To patch Battlezone to version 1.4 you must have a full version of Battlezone correctly
installed. This patch updates any full version currently released, including the full
version of Battlezone bundled with hardware (OEM), foreign language versions and games
updated by an earlier patch. (NOTE: This patch is ONLY for use with the full version of
the game. If you have Battlezone Lite or the Battlezone Demo, the patch will not upgrade
your version.)
You will need about 6MB of free disk space for the patch to install. The patch will
uncompress to windows/temp, so if the patch reports a disk space error, emptying
windows/temp may help.

Notes:
The patch will update netmis.txt. If you have added new multiplayer maps, you will not
lose your changes. The new maps will be appended to the end of your modified file.
For owners of AGP and 3Dfx Voodoo2 video cards, the Battlezone Enhanced Graphics
Edition Patch 1.4 also contains graphics enhancements which take advantage of your video
cards. In order to view these enhancements, you must also download the file
large_assets.zip and unzip it into your Battlezone game directory. Customers with the
Japanese language version of Battlezone should not download this file. |
