Question #1: Wolfenstein 3D had a disclaimer that read, "this game has been voluntarily rated PC-13." What did the "PC" stand for?

Yep, the "PC" in "PC-13" stood for "Profound Carnage."
Question #2: In all, there were eleven games released using the Build engine. Name eight.
Answer: In my infinite stupidity, I left one out of my original list...in actuality there are twelve Build engine licensed games. Here's a list:

- Blood
- 'Nam
- Shadow Warrior
- Redneck Rampage
- Redneck Rampage Rides Again
- Redneck Deer Huntin'
- Extreme Paint Brawl

In addition, there was one other answer we accepted: Fate, while it never technically was released, does have a downloadable demo available on AVault.
Question #3: What was the first FPS game to ship with CTF support right out of the box?
Answer: Rise of the Triad, from Apogee included a multiplayer mode called "Capture the Triad" which was essentially CTF.
And the winner is...Myrddin Emrys!
Congrats! E-mail us the name of the game you want, and we'll get that out to you.
And here's the reason you really came by...those wacky entries.
Question #1: This time around there wasn't any question that everyone managed to get right...as a result there's plenty of novelty answers to be found.
"PC" - parental care.
-- / misAGONY"PC" stands for "Personal Computer". Originally eleves ruled the monkey and withing the ice cream, with bones, eggs had vinegar. Oh and by the way, there is no spoon.
-- HippoInitially it stood for Piece of Crap with a rating of 13 for really bad, but they decided it should stand for Politically Correct instead.

-- DOOManiacParadigm Creating.
-- SteptoPlease Compile?
-- Pablo J. NevaresQuestion #2: Lots of strange answers for this one. You'd be amazed how many people entered mission packs and add-ons as full Build Engine games.
Who cares? None of 'em is Quake!
-- Brock SouthDuke Nukem, Shadow Warrior, eXtreme Paintball (you can look this one up!), and a whole bunch of other crappy games.
-- David M. PetersShadow Warrior, NAM....er.....and the other 6 I can't remember.

-- Matt BrickellQuestion #3: Apparently there's a FAQ somewhere that lists Descent 2 as being the first game to ship with CTF support. Sorry to everyone who used that as a resource. Other common answers were Unreal (??), Quake 2, Starsiege: TRIBES, and Jedi Knight. And then there were the odd ones...
Half-Life. If not then it must have been Myst because it supported (C)rap-(T)hought-and-(F)inal-Product.
-- N LeighGoldeneye for N64 ....screw Unreal.

-- Andy CrumThe very first game to ever be shipped with CTF (Capture the Flag) support was one of the first. It included withing its gaming goodness its very own CTF support from which you could easily play CTF to our hearts content. This game was the first of its kind. Many thought that this was quite original as no other game has ever been realeased with CTF support. The Capture the Flag Mod was something new to be shipped with the games. It was the first game ever to actually include the specific CTF support required to play the game of CTF.In conclusion, this game was the first to ever include such an amazing feat of technology.
-- HippoThis has got to be a trick question. no FPS has ever shipped with anything
extra out of the box.-- andy, atsign, n stuff.
i'm guessing that the answer to the 3rd question is "Tribes", but as i'm an SP guy, i don't know for sure. (given loony's love for the game, tho, it wouldn't surprise me.) wonder how many ppl are going to say "q2", conveniently forgetting it wasn't in the box? :) maybe a quick editorial on the short memories of gamers should follow... :D
