So far, I have the first two Quake games for free from Bethesda.net Launcher. I will get the third one on Monday.

Do I assume I can use the downloaded and installed Quake games' data files (hopefully updated like the original files!) to copy to other computers like my 12 years old Debian Jessie v8 and PowerBook G4 (1 Ghz, 512 MB of RAM, ATI Radeon, two Mac OSes (X Tiger v10.14.11 and Classic v9.2.2, and maybe PowerPC Linux later for a triple boot) and other devices with third party programs? If so, then what are the best ones to use for the best graphics, audio, single player, and online multiplayer with active servers (are id Software's Quake master servers still up?)?

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering.
