11. Ugly week Sep 15, 2014, 07:35  Blue

I expect things to be hard to predict earlier in the season, but yesterday was nucking futs... So many weird outcomes, so many bad calls, so many high impact injuries.

My picks were a disaster this week... spread league in particular. Ugh.

Davis, Charles, Griffin, Jackson, a lot of injuries this week (although i'm not suprised by Griffin's).

And congrats to the refs, they played a tough game and pulled it out vs the niners.

Holy cats. This was a *bad* week for me on the picks, but somehow I'm winning the spread.

I cant believe the spread is still only 2.5 points on the Vikes/Pats game. No AP....but Patterson is eating up defenses....so I guess we shall see. Be a good game to watch. As a Vikes fan, I took the Pats.

I just dont see Brady having 2 bad games in a row (as much as i dislike the guy and that team).

haha the giants aren't as bad as they've shown... are they?! they'll turn it around at some point, but i doubt it'll be this soon.

i was surprised the steelers played so poorly, especially since they dropped 30 on CLE's vaunted defense the previous week. they actually moved the ball pretty well, but then Big Ben just missed easy passes all night to kill drives.

As a Chiefs fan, pick the Broncos.

You are welcome.

Remember to get your picks in!

The Thursday night game seemed like a toss-up to me, but I was feeling the likelihood of the Ravens overcoming their off-field scandal to win. But I allowed my thought it would be close convinced me to pick the Steelers +2-1/2 in the spread league. I was contemplating how dicey it was to predict an under three-point victory for Baltimore. Then I saw that historically these games actually come down to such narrow margins, so I went with it. Oh well, I was half right.

And I think I need help... I am seriously contemplating picking the Giants again this week.
