Top 10 ever made? My top 10 favorites? Not the same lists. And not something I'd want completely commit my honor to without taking a fair bit of time to create the list. That said...

A few of my all-time favorites off the top of my head:

Lawrence of Arabia
The Bridge on the River Kwai
The Green Mile
The Shawshank Redemption
The Godfather
The Silence of the Lambs
2001: A Space Odyssey
Pulp Fiction
The American President
Absence of Malice
Heat
The Fountainhead
Children of a Lesser God

I'll stop there, although I'm certain if I sat here for a few minutes I could come up with some others I love. I have watched all the films I mentioned multiple times. I think I own them all on Blu-ray.

Not really a top 10, but thank God for Mystery Science Theater 3000--both as YouTube reruns and Netflix.

During this Lockdown Sick , I've been re-watching some old movies from when I was a kid. Thought I'd list some that I feel hold up really well.

The Hitcher ('86 version)
True Romance
Last Man Standing
Where Eagles Dare
Assault on Precinct 13 ('76 version)
Zentropa (aka Europa)
House ('85)
Someone to watch over me
The Hidden
Manhunter ('86)

I wish this thread had taken off because I love discovering new movies. There's a couple you guys have listed that I had not heard of and will have to check out. Thanks Happy

Found these 2 gems:

Anthony Mackie Explains Why Hollywood Movies Suck Now ie. Sam Wilson / Falcon

and

Jurassic World, Jurassic Values. "I dislike Jurassic World. Here's one of the many reasons why."

Yeah, I fucking hate that movie. And I say that as a fan of Chris Pratt generally. But that movie is just awful, and both "Claire" and Bryce Dallas Howard are a big part of that. Also, the dumb and derivative script.

Good vids though.

Been really into watching Red Letter Media lately (or listening while I work). Good stuff.

Also, Aliens is probably the greatest action movie ever made.
My old boss thought Aliens realistically displayed the "fog of war" feeling.

'I am' is reportedly the shortest sentence in the English language. Could it be that 'I do' is the longest sentence? - GC

Top 10 is so hard since I'm excluding fantastic movies like ...
You're right, it's dang near impossible I could also post this as my top ten and be perfectly happy on a desert island.

The Departed
Amadeus
The Dark Knight
Snatch
Back to the Future
The Godfather
Reservoir Dogs
The Silence of the Lambs
Alien
The Usual Suspects

Adding the above to the my op still doesn't cover half of my "Top 10"
