Out of the Blue

Well, the Fourth of July holiday is clearly underway, as the fireworks were going off in force around here last night, freaking out our poor Hudson the wonder dog but good. There's more on the way, so we'll just have to batten down the hatches. Boom!

Anyone have one?

Do you get FREE books online at Amazon? I see that there are a number of books that appear to be free when you have a Kindle.....

And the best thing about July 4th is that it means it's only 1 more month till real sports start again - NFL preseason!

HELLS YES!

Yeah, I have to stay near the pups the next few nights instead of them being alone at night. They shake terribly.

Gave tons of verbal warnings tonight about fireworks. Tomorrow the tickets fly.

I used to love blowing off firecrackers....now though, since they bugged my dog I hate them. Oh Well. And as for football? Well what a waste. Hockey rules...Never will you see a fat hockey player but ya see alot of tubs of lard on the football field.

More FO BOS!

At http://gamergraffix.com you can get a 5ft tall wall graffix of a BOS guy! Sweet. Just hit the site and search for Fallout, has a bunch of stuff.

And I just saw on the Bethsoft blog that when they were launching the game they made a pile of these huge BoS guys for stores, though I've never seen one. Has anyone else?

Man, those last 2 shots look like something out of I Robot. These things are huge, I wonder what they cost?

Cipher - Man, it boggles the mind when you read about guys like Jefferson and his pals and all the things they were so learned about. It makes almost everyone today - politicians especially by comparison - come off as just about retarded. I truly wish I had grown up with a really classical education like those guys. The potential wasted with most of us today by comparison is just sad.

Insect clock? I'm sure we'll here PETA chime in on this soon.

Naked at work? Whilst we have some hotties there, we also have a lot more people that you'd be inclined to pay to not remove their clothing. It's like when anyone comes in for a birthday and asks if the staff will sing for the birthday gal/guy, and I reply that their present is the staff not singing.

That BoS armor is the bomb!!! Holy shit I'd drop a grand on that for Halloween. The guy should paint it up sweet though and get a voice modulator for the helmet. I really love the red and black BoS armor they did in FO3. Even the classic with the military green paint would be nice. I'd love to walk around at Halloween saying to people, 'Hey local, shouldn't you be banging some rocks together or something?'

Here's the company that made it. Mebbe I'll shoot them an email and see what they're asking for that.
