Play Splinter Cell: Conviction in 12 Hours

Splinter Cell: Conviction can be completed in 12 hours on the Official Xbox 360 Magazine predicts the amount of gameplay to expect in the coming stealth/shooter sequel (thanks 1UP). Ubisoft's Maxime Beland explains this is in the context of "normal" difficulty: "And then we're going to have the normal mode for normal gamers, that are going to spend 12 hours playing our game and not 30 because they're dying all the time."

Sounds great, one of the few 360 games I'm looking forward too.

12 hours is a reasonable length for an action game (oops, sorry - an action/stealth game), assuming it will have the same multiplayer as its predecessors.

Seems pretty reasonable. Most new games are ridiculously easy even on the highest difficulty these days. The difficulty levels in the Splinter Cell games has never really mattered for me because I just restart the mission if I ever get caught.

Thank god we can rent these games for the console or I'd never bother playing them at their $60US price tag.

I dont have a problem with a 12 hr game, but I do have serious issues with a 4 hr game.

12 hours is good. I won't want to sink my life into these games anyway...

Which is funny because even during times when I was quicksaving and reloading like crazy because of difficulty, I still didn't come anywhere close to thirty hours.
