My dad's High School shop teaching lost most of 3 fingers demonstrating the proper way to use a table saw on the first day of school. If that wasn't bad enough, he did the exact same thing to the other hand the next year.

My cousin is 'that guy'. He lost 1/2 of 3 fingers (pinky, ring, middle) in an industrial bandsaw accident.

Thank goodness the bandsaw skill thing ended cool. I was afraid by the teaser that the guy sawed off his fingers or something like that ...
