Any idea what the specs translate to for MultiCore CPUs?

I've always wonder why system requirements don't list those...

The simple answer is that it's harder to estimate - it doesn't hurt that it plays cheerfully into the (generally correct) perception that multicore CPUs are always faster than single-core CPUs. Everything I've heard indicates that it's well-optimized for SMP configurations*, so even someone gurgling along on a Core2 E1x00 or a Pentium D should be OK in the end. I am a little surprised that they don't clarify whether it will run on one of the single-core Core2 Celerons or AMD Semprons; I'd expect either to generally slap around or pull even with the 3.2 GHz Pentium 4 they mention.

* At least for dual-core... I'd be surprised if this revision of the Doom 3 tech scales as well to arbitrary numbers of CPUs as Source or Unreal 3.
