Max Payne 3 on October 30? - Updated [Jun 22, 2009, 09:19 am ET] – Share – Viewing Comments

Play.com for Max Payne 3 has an October 30, 2009 release date for
Remedy's upcoming shooter sequel. A follow-up on
LivePlayStation has a confirmation, for what it's worth, from Play.com who
tell them this comes from "the developers of the game," though publishers are
usually the ones who handle release dates. We shall see. Thanks Gamer's Hell. Update:
Joystiq has the expected follow-up from Rockstar indicating that an official
release date has not been specified, and the game is still expected this winter.

Yeah, when will these assholes learn anytime is a good time to release a good game. People just want the game they don't care when its released. *cough Dargon Age = perfect example *cough
Sigh. Looks like every single good game is coming out in October again. I guess publishers really DON'T want to sell lots of copies?
I think I'll buy this when it's inevitably ten bucks on Steam in a year or so.

At this point Max Payne 3 looks to be Max Payne only in name.
Seriously, if I came across the released screen shots without any proper context I'd instantly recognize it as being the iconic Max Payne...err no. How could R* fuck this up that badly?
Hopefully new information as it comes along proves me wrong but I'm not holding my breath.

WOW Max Payne before Alan Wake I realize they are being developed by different companies, but I have a lot of hope for MP3 and BETTER deliver BIG TIME!
That sounds a bit misleading like Remedy is making the sequel.
