So I'm wondering how many of you have actually listened to the RPS Podcast with Chet. Chet says quite clearly that they will continue to update L4D and have the big Matchmaking release due out a couple weeks after E3.
That's wonderful of them to do after no one cares anymore since L4D2 was announced. Plus they've said plenty of things and I'm not going to call them liars because I understand priorities change in business but let's just say they all haven't come true. Of course he's going to say that when people are really pissed off, have you looked at the steampowered forums? They collapsed under the weight of complaining last night for two hours.
But despite being told about this Podcast several times, people are still harping on about the same damned thing...their own speculation that Valve will drop post-release support for L4D.
First off, podcasts aren't publicly broadcast over television or something nor have I seen any of these posted on this site so far today at least. Second, I think people are more upset that they obviously had a skeleton crew doing the bare minimum on the first game WHILE they worked on the sequel. It's also not even a year after the game was launched.
Futhermore, you folks keep saying how you are sick of the game, it's boring, repetitive, etc, etc...so how is more content going to change the fact you don't like the gameplay? It's not. If you don't like the game...move on and stop asking for things that aren't going to make you play the game anyways.
No, that's you twisting people's words to suit your side of this. The gameplay is fun but is based on the content. This type of game wouldn't be fun running around in a big blank level, would it? Of course it's the content that keeps people coming back.
