3D Realms Denies Buyout Offer

Shacknews has a statement from Scott Miller of 3D Realms, responding to rumors that they turned down a $30 million dollar offer from Take-Two for the Duke Nukem property, which would have funded the completion of development of Duke Nukem Forever. According to Miller no such deal was proposed, and if it had been they "would have taken this offer without hesitation."

there is definitely a story here

whats interesting to me is I don't see this being the end of the story either, it looks like there will be an inevitable court case, if there is the IP may be given to take two, if there isn't it may still be sold and the game go into development at another studio, it might even be possible for 3dr to resurrect itself and continue development

just writing the above may be a self fulfilling prophecy but it looks like we will be hearing about DNF for quite some time
