@Verno
FedEx, UPS, and DHL deliver packages in excellent condition. I've personally never experienced loss or damage on any products from these carriers.
@space captain
socialism? Please don't put words into my mouth. I'm not going to walk down this path with you.
as opposed to what, exactly? Private sector carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
@Ecthelion
How do other countries do it? Do any of them have non-governmental postal services? No clue, but I would venture a guess and say most probably use private sector carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
You get what you pay for. If you want government-run services then that's the caliber of product and services you will receive. This has nothing to do with political ideology. It has to do with the way government operates its affairs and how their shitty services effect people and businesses.
But I think this is all irrelevant. It shows that Gamefly is losing money. Netflix uses the USPS and their mailer sleeves are horrid. Basically a sheet of paper glued together with a return address. I think the reason NetFlix isn't bitching about the USPS is that any losses they suffer is far less than the number of customers they have.
