A playable demo is now available for Wanted: Weapons of Fate, offering a
sample of GRIN's just-released third-person shooter movie tie-in. Word is: "The
game continues were the movie Wanted left off with hero Wesley Gibson in an
entirely new chapter exploring his journey to becoming an unmatched über
assassin. Featuring intense third-person action, learn the basic moves in the
demo and take combat to the next level with iconic moves -- such as 'Curving
Bullets' and 'Assassin Time' -- drawn directly from the film, as well as an
innovative, multi-layered cover mechanic." The download is available on
AtomicGamer,

I played it and it's really boring and generic. I don't know why developers keep making games like this(generic gears clones). The full price tag really hurts too.
Played the demo... actually a fun little game. Not worth $50 by a long shot, but it's got some cool ideas and plays smoothly. I'll grab it when it hits $20 or $30.
Where does this sense you're entitled to everything right now, your way, come from?
For that matter, where are all these dipshit trolls coming from? There's like ten new ones that showed up in the last few days. Did slashdot die or something?
I played the demo. Has that limited gameplay console feel. But at least they made it more pc friendly than other console releases. Easy to navigate menus with mouse, easy to rebind keys and change mouse sensitivity. Easy to change resolutions. However even with 1680x1050 the camera was zoomed in too close in my opinion and you never saw the wide range I would expect to see.
It doesn't really matter how long it took them to develop it, the game just ain't that good (at least from what I got from the short demo). Plenty of other PC games of this type which are much more fun for the money.
$50 divided by 5 hours of gameplay equals $10/hour..which is what I make at work, is this game worth 5 hours of my hard earned money? Probably not..piracy for the win.
