Out of the Blue

An interesting thing I learned from my new G9 mouse with the weights is how unnecessary weights are in a mouse, for myself, at least. I assumed at first that heavy would be better, but quickly found loading it with weight actually caused me wrist and hand pain, and further experimentation proved that I was happiest with no weights whatsoever, so maybe I need to look into filling this thing with helium.

I don't understand why people still use mice. I mean really. Why pick up and move and pick up and move all the damn time? That gets so tiring. I started using a Logitech Marble+ years ago and I haven't gone back to mice since. I have replaced my old one recently with a Logitech Trackman Wheel, and it's even better! You have no idea how ridiculously easy it is to dominate in TF2 with this thing, when all I have to do is move my thumb. Plus I can spin it for extra fast movement if I need to, but usually, my sensitivity is high enough anyway. Also, cleaning it is a snap. I don't have any of that annoying gunk to clean off of rollers like on a mouse. It's just three tiny contact points.

I really wish Logitech would invest more time into updating these things though as it would be nice to have a higher DPI gaming version. This does me just fine for the moment however. I recommend you all check one out. Once you get past the learning curve, I swear to god it's the best trackball (or mouse for that matter) that you'll ever use.
