has further indications from Capcom that a PC edition of Resident Evil 5 is
eventually coming, which was seemingly confirmed earlier this year by
CD Projekt. The new report quotes "Svensson " (presumably Capcom's Christian
Svensson) answering a question about PC RE5 saying: "That's a fantastic
question. Unfortunately it's one that I can't give you an answer to today. But
stay tuned." When asked if that meant there was hope, he answered "Potentially."
The article goes on to outline Capcom's plans for a number of PC releases over
the coming year.
RE4's PC port had a few problems (that bizarre way it didn't have a lighting engine being foremost among them for me) but the patch that went out for it soon after turned it into one hell of an awesome port.I personally thought RE4's port was horrid with or without the patch especially in comparison to RE4's Wii version but then, the whole port job was outsourced to Ubisoft and the ports of DMC4 and Lost Planet were quality stuff so I'm definitely interested in this one.
