PC Street Fighter IV in Summer [Feb 27, 2009, 10:36 am ET] – Share – Viewing Comments

reports the PC edition of Street Fighter IV will be released this summer,
though the quote from Capcom is actually a bit vague: "Let's say summer."
Christian Svensson of Capcom also tells them they are working on the PC fight
stick situation: "We rolled out our Mad Catz sticks and pads, and the
interesting thing to note about all of those sticks and pads is they all work
with PC as well. We may, and I'm in talks with Mad Catz to figure out how can we
actually do some bundles of pads and Street Fighter IV PC."
The need to put out more of the fight sticks. Demand is through the roof (as evidenced by the Fleabay prices) and playing with either console's standard controllers is painful.
Honestly, SF4's move input is lenient enough that using the analog stick isn't all that bad. Sure, in SF2 HD you are basically required to have an arcade stick, but SF4 seems a lot easier. I was planning to get a stick, or at least the fight pad, but I'm holding off for the moment. Currently using the X360 analog stick.
