Then completely disregard everything you saw in GW, as MMOs aren't really anything like it.
Toons, alts, classes, skills, levels, equipment, quests, instances, grouping, soloing, farming, selling, guilds.
Nothing in common at all.
Only thing missing really is crafting.
I really like GW, but my mates couldn't accept the "floaty" nature of the game's movement and the lack of a z-dimension (jumping), so we ended up going with lotro (good also).
