As noted on the Dystopia Website, a
new version 1.2 of this Source engine cyberpunk game is now available for free
via Steam. The site offers a five minute video to show new and returning
players what this game and the new version are all about. Additionally, their
new player guide

This reminds me of Deus Ex + Ghost in the Shell. Now if only it were a single-player action RPG

They sped up much of the footage in that video. It doesn't play that fast.
Dystopia is probably the most professional and complete mod since Team Fortress. I played it quite a bit until TF2 came out. Its been on hiatus since then. It's good to see that they finally updated it and got it going again.

It sounded pretty unique, so I watched the trailer - and lost any and all desire to play it. The art direction is nice, but the sight of everyone running around like poorly animated hop-happy bunnies on crack killed it for me.

Start as a heavy if you are a new, this game has a steep learning curve. Interesting game play dynamics, an engaging atmosphere & very polished. This is as enjoyable as L4D, provided you are on a team that knows how to follow the HUD marker.

I got all excited when you wrote cyberpunk, only to look into the mod and see it is multiplayer focused.
