Brian Austin Greer has finally earned my respect after 90210 ... man, all I could think of when I saw that guy was "Squash It!".
Yeah, I was amazed that he's actually good in this show. I had to explain to my wife why I was amazed though, since she wasn't living in the U.S. when 90210 was on. Of course they brought it back now too. Wonder if it's as bad as it ever was?

Looks kind of like Call of Duty: Terminators.

I would kill to have a Terminator game made by Infinity Ward.

Game looks pretty good so far, I'd like to see it in action for more than a few seconds at a time. But this just got added to my Gamefly que.

I'm OK with slights like that. After all T2 had some gaffes, and I chalk it up as "different programming" in this case. He was much more likely to have been interrupted being behind that wall than the triple 8 in the bunker.

Yeah, if Brian Austin Green didn't earn your respect from the get-go, he should have after ripping young Fischer's fingernails out.

It has stayed true to the Terminator lore and has expanded on it in very logical ways.
It does, but sometimes it breaks its own rules. I'm a bit behind (a few weeks) but I just watched the episode that shows what Cameron does at night and the Terminator she rips out of the wall starts fighting back instantly. If you remember in one of the first episodes (where John was holed up in the bunker with the "triple 8"), it look something like 70 seconds to boot ... that didn't apply when she ripped the "metal" out of the wall.

Other than that, I have really enjoyed the show. Yeah, some episodes are slower than others, but even the greatest TV series had this problem. Brian Austin Greer has finally earned my respect after 90210 ... man, all I could think of when I saw that guy was "Squash It!".

Forget T3 ever existed. The TV show is well done, I don't care what anyone says. It has stayed true to the Terminator lore and has expanded on it in very logical ways. It's not as gritty as the first two films, but the development of Skynet and the contrasts between machines and humans is probably the best running story/theme of the show. No matter how much they try to understand human nature it is impossible for them to truly grasp. "Thank you for your time".

I am withholding judgment until I actually see it. Crazy foreign concept, I know...

As for the TV show, I really like it, though at times it seems a little off the rails for a show about the Terminator universe.

And BTW, there have been movie games that didn't suck. Spiderman 2 for Nintendo was brilliant (it sucked a mountain of ass for the PC though) I remember kicking my kid off of his Gamecube so I could play it. Never played it much, but Goldeneye is revered as one of the best movie games ever. Then there was Chronicles of Riddick, which was fantastic. Yeah, it's pretty short list. There might be one or two I'm forgetting, but not more than that I'm sure.

The Terminator IP died as soon as Terminator 3 came out. The original and its superb sequel are all that should be remembered.

This is no exception, no matter how good it looks!

That and Arnold isn't back

From what I've heard about this, he's in it, but in a small role. I'm guessing near the end of the movie, when they make the first T-800 to go back in time.

Interesting. I had to hire someone to translate for me all of Bales' lines when he was in the Batman suit. All I could understand were grunts and groans.
Well Bruce Wayne is a celebrity, so it seemed like he would talk in that growly way to disguise his voice. I didn't have any trouble understanding him though.

Most of the complaints that I've seen about the show were that the story is moving too slow. I don't get it. People seem to have no attention span at all anymore. If shit isn't blowing up every other minute, or we don't have some kind of plot zinger mindfuck thing happening, they change the channel.

Terminator 1 + 2 are the only movies I consider Terminator. The rest are not terminator, they are something else with the same name. Don't get me started at the abysmal show. FOX should be ashamed.

The movie trailer doesn't show any laser guns being shot But i do like the giant Terminator.

I hope the game is cool, but at the same time I'm really burnt out on the post-apocalyptic war-torn brown-colored motif.

"Bale's done a good job with Batman so..."

The game will suck ass if its a movie tie in. The movie looks ok thus far, has some gay shit like the motorcross bike jump over at night, which as we all know, anyone untrained in motocross can do instantly, day one, in 1 minute.

The giant robot at the end looks clumsy, otherwise it looks cool. I better see about 50 dead people per minute (50 DPPP (TM)) or I will be pissed.

And for gods sake let the robots win like they did in #3.

This could be a great game. Unfortunately, it's a movie tie-in which means it likely has a ridiculously short dev cycle and countless creative stiflings.

Bale's done a good job with Batman so I think he can pull off John Conner (just lose the lisp). That and Arnold isn't back which is a plus (they finally realized there's other terminator models). I'm looking forward to the movie especially since I've been pleasantly surprised with the show.

I think we all pray for a good terminator game but expect it to be shit.

I wonder if another movie will help or hurt the TV show. I like the show. The third movie sucked though. I'm not sure what to think on this one yet.
