When we edit a post, the "this post was edited" message gets appended to the bottom of the post.
I wish that this only came after an edit that took place a little while after the post was made. That way, we can quickly fix our posts if we notice some errors right after posting it. Thoughts? How long is "a little while"? That seems kind of arbitrary. The preview button is meant to help with fixing minor glitches before posting, so get used to that.

Oil Prices at 20-month Low |

Who seemed incapable of grasping the fact that demand is causing low oil prices? I know somebody here just wouldnt' accept it...
I gassed up for $1.83 yesterday.
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/11/12/business/worldbusiness/12oil.html
The International Monetary Fund recently warned that the world faced the prospect of a simultaneous recession in the United States, Europe and Japan for the first time in morethan 60 years. The Chinese economy, long the main engine of growth in oil demand, is also slowing.
As a result, a growing number of oil specialists now expect global demand to drop this year, which would be the first annual decline since 1983.
"In a falling demand environment, it is extremely difficult to stem a price drop," said Francisco Blanch, a commodity strategist at Merrill Lynch. "Global economic growth is still trending down and it will be a few quarters before we see a trough for oil prices. Until then, OPEC will try to figure out what the right level of production is going to be. That’s a hard thing to do." |

In Canada - that's the big country north of you on the map - it's called "Rememberance Day", as we remember the sacrifices the war veterans have made in the WWI and WWII. We also wear poppies on our collars or lapels as symbol of respect for those veterans.
In Flanders Fields - Lt. Col. John McCrae, MD (1872-1918) Canadian Army
IN FLANDERS FIELDS the poppies blow Between the crosses row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields. |

I'm enjoying Charon in Fallout 3.. Sure he seems scared of everything but he blows away all the puny detritus and growls a lot. Better him than me!
And NPCs have unlimited ammo and their equipment never degrades.. you gotta love that. |

I say with conviction Fable 2 is Peters best work EVER. And yes I bought Black and White 1 and 2. Was finally nice to see all the features he talked about actually in the game, (minus the whole 'use your enviroment' thing) that was mentioned many moons ago.
Personally after playing Fallout 3 and Fable 2, Fallout 3's Dogmeat is rather bleh. But then again all the NPC companions in Fallout 3 are. |

Ok, I've seen some love for Fable 2 on Blue's, but are there any major annoyances/problems with the game? As someone who purchased Black and White, I've earned all of my Molyneux-associated distrust. I just don't want to get hurt again. |

I didn't see a lot of love from posters with FC2. Hence, I didn't get the game. |

Honestly I'm really not finding the love in Far Cry 2 that everyone is raving about. All I heard about was 2 things 1)Fire, 2)AI. So far the AI is been the ESP type, even going in at night with a silencer, and while fire is cool, I want it to keep burning everything! One night there were major winds going and I figured 'Lets see how this works!' and it burned for about 45 seconds out in a major field and stopped. I WANTED CALIFORNIA BRUSH FIRES DAMMIT!
Maybe it's just me but the only 2 games that have really impressed me this winter are World of Goo and Fable 2. |

hats off to you vets! Thanks Blue.
On the note of your teeth, I've been reading your site since 1996 and have suffered along with you and your dentist trips. My only question really is this: I know your fascination with coffee, but other than that, are you just eating rocks? =) |
