Not Michael Crichton... loved his Jurassic Park books.
Yeah, I was very disappointed to read that today. Think my favorite of his was Timeline. Never saw the movie from a few years ago, but picked up the book and loved it...
Really liked his fiction books, but his autobiography was... interesting.
Sad to hear about Michael Crichton. Most of his books are great, well before the movie version bastardizes them.

Im not really into techno-thrillers so I never read Michael Crichton, but apparently he was way above the rest in the genre.
I have a nifty blue line!
My favorite of his was Sphere, the first I read, and the one that got me hooked. Next was Congo. RIP Michael, you will never be forgotten! <3

Read Jurassic Park. That book defined him.

And I believe the part in (the movie) JP3 with the pterodactyls attacking from their cage was from the first book, also...
