Out of the Blue

What? We know who is going to be the next president without recounts and court decisions? I guess that's democracy FTW.

Now if he lowers my taxes like he promised, I might even like him!

I hope that never happens....

I don't' think everyone is aware of the current situation...and everyone that voted for "CHANGE" actually voted for higher taxes.

It will be impossible for Obama to do what he said he would....the only way to to do (other than the mentioned magic wand) will be to raise taxes across the board. To give the have nots something, you need to have that money come from somewhere. If they quit printing money, they will need to raise taxes on everyone.

Now, what do you do? Raise taxes? On homeowners? Well, great, fuck you then, good luck getting elected next time around, us homeowners are tired of getting F'd in the A. But the have nots dont' care if you do that, they never paid taxes in the first place!

No one will call Obama on his promises. no president ever gets called on them. The last one I can remember that did was "Read my lips, no new taxes".

Well, that just isn't feasible. You can't get something for nothing. Am I happy Obama won? No. Would I have been ecstatic had McCain won? No. I just hope all of your glee and excitement doesn't dwindle in 12-20 months when shit isn't "changed".

I watched this stuff pretty late last night, and all of the people they interviewed at these don't have a fucking clue what "change" means. They may be a little surprised when "change" actually is a code word for "high taxes".

Anyway. I could go on forever about the fallicies and bs in the comments about Obama and what he does, but all of those bashing Bush and how he has "torn the country apart". Be reminded, Even at his lowest point, he had a hell of a better rating than House and Congress!

The problem isn't the prez, it is the lawmakers. Veto is bullshit when the veto comes from R and the D control more than enough to override. I am not so sure that the majority of America realises what may happen over this next term. It is very possible that the Dems may steamroll a lot of shit.

Things that weren't talked about at all, and have been promised for years by everyone, then gets tossed to the side:
-Health care
-Social Security

I don't see them getting solved anytime soon, and we have record retirements starting during Obama's time. Just something to thin kabuot. They aren't working on a solution RIGHT NOW - so we will be neck deep in SHIT. You think it is bad now with the housing? Now lets throw SS on top of it. Then more HelthCare increases at record levels. Going to bea bumpy ride. Good luck to Obama.

Best part abuot today? No more ads. I went to a funeral yesterday and was speaking to a friend of a friend from Germany. They only have ads on from 6pm-8pm and they can't attack the person. Something I wish our system would also do....integrity, honesty, and common fucking sense is out the window in this country.
