BlizzCon 2008 Ticket Drawing Ends

The World of Warcraft Website announces the last of the tickets from the BlizzCon 2008 ticket drawing have sold out. Those interested in the proceedings at the convention still have the option of getting the pay-per-view on DirecTV (story), not that everybody is happy with that arrangement.

I have Directv and hd.. love them both. So basically I can cozy up to my flat screen in the comfort of my home and for $40 bucks watch the blizcon event? And I get the goodie bag mount? This is a win.

If CliffyB hosts will you want a refund?

William Shakespeare's "Star Wars" Act I, Scene 1: Aboard the rebel ship. / Enter C-3PO and R2-D2. / C-3PO: "Now is the summer of our happiness / Made winter by this sudden, fierce attack!" / R2-D2 Beep beep, Beep, beep, meep, squeak, beep, whee!

They should throw in UFC champs taking on video game champs. Something like Randy Couture versus FPS Doug. I'd probably buy it then.

Well wouldn't there be a bigger market with regular Pay-Per-View instead of only on DirectTV? Isn't that one of the things they (Blizzard) mentions when how they talk about how well so many computers can run WoW?

Using a steering wheel on a Burnout game is like using the Space Shuttle controls to fly a kite.

Not everyone's happy that D3 is coming out "when its done" and not tomorrow.

Suck it up kids. Take it like men.

?

For like 40 bucks you can get like 8 hours a day of live coverage from the event floor for as long as BlizzCon lasts. I suppose it could be amusing for people who cant go. Oh and you get some kind of free mount in-game for ordering the PPV.
