hear hear...I worked on outsourced stuff that went to a country in Asia. Quality was shit. I spent as much time cleaning it up but the company wanted a lot of assets and not willing to pay for the talent to make it quality, so they got what they paid for..shit..

those interviewed in this article claim that the core part of the game design is kept in country. but if you read what type of assets are done by outsourced companies it is the design. they also claim that outsourcing does not mean off-shore companies. techincally its true. a lot of companies who specialize in outsourced jobs are actually based in the US. but only the core management not the labor. many of them are actually using off-shore labor. those who use their services could care less where the job is done. as long as the cost is cheap. i wish we can outsource white collar jobs to give these corporate shills a piece of their medicine.
