they have said that the environments are all destructible.. so that is probably the reason for it - you cant have all kinds of super high-poly and ornate structures if they are going to blow up into a thousand peices.. not for a few years at least

Maybe console footage rather than PC.
is it me or did they tone down the eye candy of this trailer? all the in-game previews we have seen so far looked way better than this one. maybe theyre preparing us for the actual game by lowering our expectations.
