Wasnt that just the tutorial (not mini-games, lol) showing you how to do combos with your button mashing?

I've played through the demo several times now, just press X...A for you xboxers, to close it.

Nope - when you are going against something larger (chicken walkers, etc) you have to do the mini game. There isn't enough of a pause like God of War - and i mash right through it. luh-hame!

Giants is a fucking stupendous game, everyone should get that.

I don't know WTF is up this season with bad games.
Mercenaries 2 also has the same mini-game timed button presses which infuriates me to no end. If I wanted to play Dragon Slayer in 3D, I'd go play Dragon Slayer in 3D. Glitches, some camera issues and the depth of a puddle pretty much kill this game.

Force Unleashed demo (personally) was fairly lackluster. I can slice open a AT-AT but I can't dismember stormtroopers? And wtf is the deal after I use a force power I have to wait for the bar to empty then refill before I can do anything again? And the camera is just a fucking pain in the ass to deal with.

Clear Sky is getting nailed left right and center.

Spore... I'm sorta enjoying it but sorta not. Finally figured out how exactly the Terra Score works after posting on the Spore Foums, considering I couldn't find any info in the manual or ingame sporepedia.

Warhammer Online... I keep trying to get into it but every time I play it I can't help but think how WoW does it better. Granted I will say that public quests are quite interesting overall I hope it fails miserably.

For those that like RTS (Sacrifice) and TBS/RTS (Soldiers) games, I highly recommend both of these.

Sacrifice is more of an action strategy RTS where you control your avatar and run around summoning your army, collecting souls from the dead to summon more creatures and capture enemy positions.

Soldiers is like a cross between Blitzkrieg and Company of Heroes. Can be played entirely RTS and/or pause anytime you want to think about and make your next move.

Problem with all of the cheap online game shops is they don't ship to Canada, or if they do they charge way too much, probably making a bigger profit on shipping than the game itself.

Man, that was a great game between the Pack and the Vikes last night. Props to Aaron, I think the kid is going to do just fine. A very impressive debut to say the least, considering all the scrutiny he's been under. Brady's out, eh? Should make for an interesting season.

Much respect to the Pack for the game last night (that hurts to say btw) but - from the Vikes - more of the same. Dropped the last 5 against the Pack now.....

I don't know what we need to do to get a secondary that isn't the laughing stock of the league. #1 or #2? Against the run last year, last in the league against the pass. No brainer where we got beat all night long (save the 1 really sweet run by the Pack for 50+ yeards) Tampa 2 defense is a JOKE!

/edit: GEEZ! I cancelled my GameFly (wow is that spendy) as I haven't been playing games much and have other things to do (PC Games) and I had to click "Cancel" Yes cancel, yea cancel. 5-6 times! sheesh. Can't really make a mistake there can you?

FYI to anyone who uses them - at the 4-5th step, they ask you if you want to continue your membership for a 30% discount - so it is worth a shot to "go through the steps".

I really hope they succeed - so we have more than 1 product to keep our game collections online and download when we want to play. Currently I only use Valve - as the others I just don't trust enough.
