Diablo is a different breed from games which use the D&D ruleset. I tried sooo hard to get into Baldurs Gate 2 but to no avail.
I completely agree with you there, except I loved BG2 and have never been able to get into the Diablo games despite repeated attempts.
To each their own I say...

Looks promising! Maybe it'll be as good as NWN, only a few years later ;-)

I would be STUNNED if D3 was on store shelves prior to 7/1/2010 -- basically two years after the initial announcement. I'd probably be willing to bet on it, too bad I don't live in the UK...

Yea blizzard is realizing these days that announcing the game 3 years before it's gonna even come close to done is a bad idea. In the last several years they've been announcing their games a year or two before they come out. So I'd expect Diablo 3 either around Christmas next year (not likely but one can hope) or during the late spring/early summer next.
I was too, just booted up Sacred Gold...good times and Sacred 2 is coming out NOV 7. Should hold me over till D3!
I'm jonesing so badly for a good rpg/hack 'n slash that I can almost taste D3...

Bah, who cares!? If they released the game tomorrow they could use pink sa the only color in the game for all I care. Maybe even call it Diablo III pink edition and get more females picking it up. Cool right?!
