2 and 3 are only contradictory if you think it's impossible to add content to a finished game. It's done all the time. You can twist the meaning of finished to be different than they intended, but that's just kind stupid.
I think that three goes farther than necessary, but it's their choice to adhere to these or not, so I think it's stupid to argue that they shouldn't. They use a royalty system with the developers that they work with (like Ironclad) so that the developer keeps making money even after they finish the game, which enables them to release more content. So for them it makes sense.
They're not forcing these on anyone. They're telling us what they, and the developers that they publish for, plan to do for their customers. So quit being a fuckwad yourself.
