Number 8 is just fine. Innocent until proven guilty. You should NEVER label anyone as a potential risk unless they have done something in the past that shows they are a risk. Like with a sex offender/pedophile. No one is labeled as such until they have been proven to be one.
Also, downloading a game off the net is so easy to not let #1 be much of a problem. I'd also argue that not being able to return a game is one reason (of the many) some download games illegally.
It all comes down to making a good game worth buying while keeping the budget as low as possible. Then you'll be fine regardless if some get your product for free. These modern budgets are ridiculous and the only way they add up is from too much waste and some getting paid WAY more than they're worth. I know, I'd like to make a ton of money too where I could swim in dollar bills but come on. The greed is causing more harm than the piracy could ever do and that applies to more than just games.
