They should regularly update the achievements in smaller doses but more often. Less of an impact on the game balance.

Stream them don't steam them.

The thing I hate worst about all of the unlockables and new achievements? Knowing that there are achievement servers out there where all the hopeless tools go to completely undermine the whole point of the game.
Actually, I used one of those servers for the medic achievements - they were simply too much of a chore. Ubering a heavy while he punches people? There was also one of ubering scouts, which never happens because they simply run away to do their own thing (at least on the servers I've played). It took me a while to get just a handful of achievements. I play the game for fun. The pyro, on the otherhand, was a blast... I earned all the achievements just through regular play, though the killing through taunt was unnecessary.

At least Jackal chose the correct call sign...

The Heavy Update is the one I've looked forward to the most since the inception of unlockables. So far, they haven't been to annoying. I have noticed that only about 1 in 20 medics ever use the Kritzkrieg though. On an organized team, however, a heavy with an uber AND a Kritzkrieg? Devastating.

The Pyro updates are pretty cool. Though I haven't earned the axestinguisher yet, it sounds cool, but gets surprisingly little use. I guess that's because a Pyro is already a close-in fighter and a melee weapon is sort of redundant.

The thing I hate worst about all of the unlockables and new achievements? Knowing that there are achievement servers out there where all the hopeless tools go to completely undermine the whole point of the game.

No one cares about your opinions.
I care. Therefore your statement is rejected as false.

One thing I wish valve to do is release 2 achievement packs at once so that everyone is not a heavy.

I still haven't gotten the 1,000,000 fire damage achievement as pyro...

Also, When the hell is valve going to fix the broken OP class known as soldier, or fix the damage of demoman's det nade.
Soldiers aren't broken - they play just fine, though achievements / unlocks for that class have yet to be released meaning there will be some tweaks. As for demomen; they can be annoying and quite tough but there are always ways to take them down, especially if you work with team mates (a quick shout over voice chat is usually enough).

No one cares about your opinions.
They are only opinions. People are free to disagree but I come here to share them nonetheless.

Soldiers aren't overpowered.

crit rockets

If you look closely at the tip of the crit rocket when it gets close to you, you'd see that they do put a warning label on it to alert you to the fact that it may be hazardous to your health and that you should avoid contact with it. If you do come in contact with it, you should immediately kick someone or something, and swear loudly. Most people have read the label, but I think there are still a few that haven't. Maybe they should increase the font size on the warning label.

Also, When the hell is valve going to fix the broken OP class known as soldier, or fix the damage of demoman's det nade.

What's wrong with those? Soldiers aren't overpowered. If anything, scouts are. And should the sticky damage be increased or decreased?

The medic update really threw off the balance for a while but the pyro update was quite reasonable. I imagine the heavy update will be quite enjoyable, mainly because they're slow and there are plenty of ways to take them down (my favourite being a headshot with sniper).

It's developers like Valve, Blizzard and CD Projekt RED STUDIO (The Witcher) that really give me faith in the industry. They support their games and treat gamers with respect, unlike Crytek and others that whine about piracy and ditch support for their games early on. It's just disappointing that no other companies seem to be putting in close to as much effort as Valve. Even Epic has lost its touch recently, with fewer bonus packs, less communication with the community and patches that seem to take forever.

Valve revolutionised things by moving away from specific patches and simply auto-updating games, no matter how small the issue. Everyone automatically gets the latest version, any problems can be fixed (or rolled back) and new features can be added. No more waiting months for updates to be bundled together and quality tested (to still have issues anyway)... it all works on the fly. How soon will it be before other developers catch on?

Maybe I'll throw steam on and try this again. I'm curious what the tweaking has changed in the game and I can't help but love these guys for trying to hard to keep their games good. Damn you valve. Damn you straight to hell.
