Not that many bugfixes, eh? Oh well, it was barely buggy for me on my first playthrough. Can't wait to try the new DLC out on my second runthrough.

The DRM is one giant bug.

Question:-
Is the BDtS DLC going to remain free permenantly, or is it going to be a 'free for now' offer the be replaced by a nominal charge once the next content pack arrives?

Statement:-
They better not, but then when have those meatbags at EA ever cared about us!

Declaration:-
I'm holding off on buying ME until a) it drops in price and b) I clear some of my existing backlog

Shame, I would love to play Mass Effect but I don't buy games with limited activations or any other overly restrictive DRM.

I got BDtS about 3 weeks ago for the 360 version and ended up playing through the entire game again. Ended up 2000XP off level 60 starting from 57 (I think). Anyway, it was a very enjoyable 90 odd minutes of play and it had a very good ending too. It was worth 400 MS points so for free it's a must DL. Anyway, I like the mention of extra DLC in the press release, considering nothing new has been mentioned ever I'm left wondering what exactly it's going to be and when. Of course I'll have to start another new play through to play it I imagine.

What's overly restrictive about this?

The fact you can only install the game on 3 different sets of hardware? Seriously, what the fuck are EA thinking this will this bullshit.

I pirated this game and will continue to unless they remove it. It's a shame because this game is awesome, but I refuse to buy a game that will stop working after a while, it's just insane.

Just go to GameCopyWorld.com for the No CD activation crack and quit bitching.

I just finished the game (I bought it day one because I played 45 mins of it on the xbox last year) and man what a fun game. Story was very cliche and typical, but the graphics and dialogue, voice acting was incredible. Great game, kinda like a Oblivion in space but smaller and better in my opinion.

20 hour games are great, just about the right amount of time to play and move onto something else.

Congrats! You're a douche bag! Thanks for being part of the problem.

BTW, Bioware's servers seem to be down right now. I guess this release was more popular than they anticipated.

I ended up putting in about 30 hours both times, but my second play through included the DLC and I did every side quest in the game. There really is a ton of content. Still, not quite as much as BG2

Acragas~

3 activations.
Things that cause them:
-- Hardware Change
EA/Bioware refuses to tell us what this exactly is. But from the 19 threads (10 pages each) that is in the "off topic" section of Bioware's forums, some are saying just a video card swap can cause it.

-- Reinstall of game
This only happens if you reinstall the OS as well. If you install the game, then uninstall it but do not reload the OS or change any hardware. Then reinstall it, it won't activate again.

-- Run game under more than one account
There have been reports that if you install the game say under "Bob", run it, that eats 1 activation. Log out and run the game under "Sam", that eats another activation even tho its the SAME computer and SAME install.

After 3, you have to make a TOLL call to EA to MAYBE get them to release an activation.

Uninstalling the game DOES NOT release an activation like Bioshock did, tho the install limit on Bioshock was removed recently.

The worst part is after the first activation on install, if you change hardware the game eats another activation and from what ive read it doesn't tell you its doing that.

The number one thing about the 3 activations....
Its not mentioned ANYWHERE on or in the packaging, manuals, CD, website.

When I get home im going to eat activation #2 installing it again after an upgrade to Vista. Something I planned to do before I got the game but did not know about this limitation till weeks after the game's release.

Has any other D2D game had issues like R6?

D2D games are not limited. I've never not been able to reinstall any of the games I've purchased.

You don't like the DRM, so you're entitled to the game for free because of you won't spend money on it? It's underwear stains like you that make it so those of us who buy game legitimately have to deal with this stuff in the first place.
