Honestly this game should just retire. Its not a fun game and I cant see them making any money on it.

I'm helping ressurect the top ten sales charts of Diablo2

I'll say this: When I was in Best Buy last week, not a copy of Diablo could be found...

on the D3 announcement, I immediately shattered the HGL CD in the ways of Soulforge. Good riddance. I'm helping ressurect the top ten sales charts of Diablo2 battlechest.

would rather see their two tiered pay system fail.

Yes, I would rather not see future ARPG Developers pollute this genre with get rich schemes like Flagship is doing, create a good game and the money will come, create and expansion and you'll get even more.

It really doesn't matter how good Hellgate is now. Its time for success has passed. There won't be enough people giving this a second chance. I won't give it a first chance and would rather see their two tiered pay system fail. I'll wait for D3 if I want to get into action RPGs again.

really wish they'd get rid of the subscription model already. put a one time fee on the content updates and I'd gladly pay up. I love the game, but subscribing is simply never going to happen

<trolling>
With D3 coming out in the next year or so, my interest in Hellgate has dropped to zero. Went back to playing D2 which is better game anyway.
</trolling>

I'd be interested in the end result; with one team concentrating on making a fun game (d3) as opposed to a monetization platform with a game kinda tacked on (hg).

When you have a thread which reaches over 2 000 posts about a memory leak and growing, you sort of lose sight on Hellgate's technical shortcomings.

Sad, but true.

Age of Conan is very good for those not impacted by the memory leak (which is the majority). There are other bugs, but it's still plenty functional and worth the $.

Still works better than Age of Conan
