EA/Take-Two Deadline Extended Again

EA-Take Two deadline passes on MCV reminds us that yesterday was the second deadline for EA's takeover bid for Take-Two Interactive, which once again passed without incident. Undeterred, this press release (thanks Gamer's Hell) announces EA has extended their offer for another month, until July 18, and contrary to some indications, they have not chosen to sweeten the offer at all. Take-Two has not wasted any time in reacting, issuing this response, saying this continues to undervalue their company, as evidenced by the number of shares EA has so far collected under the offer, approximately 7.9%, more than a little short of a controlling interest.

Ea is the Devil.

If there is such a thing as Satan, EA would be a pretty close approximation of it.

I have a nifty blue line!

BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAAAA!

/edit: This just screams high school drama. Some kid with no chance in hell to hookup with the hottest slut in school, keeps getting rejected. What are they hoping for? Acceptance through annoyance? How fucking dumb do you have to be to keep this up? Nice 7.9% there assholes!

I don't understand why everyone is so against this merger. Just imagine the possibilities for GTA:

New pricing structure:
-$60 for the initial island
-$20 island expansion packs add the remaining islands (Statue of Happiness available for $5)

New downloads:
-$10 weapon pack unlocks all weapons for use in multiplayer. Those who don't buy the pack can still use their fists in multiplayer games.

-$5 car expansion packs add 3 cars per pack to the initial 5 cars available in the game.

-$10 pack unlocks islands before you've reached them in story mode, provided you've bought the expansion packs for the islands.

-$5 cheats pack enables the cheat codes for use

-$10 radio packs enable 1 new radio station each, up from the two stations that are available at the start.

New online features:
-Multiplayer servers taken offline when next version of GTA released

Whose definition was that defines insanity as doing the same thing over and over expecting different results each time?

EA is breeding an army of creatures. They COULD send them to Take-Two's HQs. Just a thought...
