Reactor instead of reacting like a goddamn kid, which you probably are, think about what I said.
Youve stated that you are a developer right? That means you develop and sell games to a certain market audience.
You can't sell a game to someone who isn't into buying your games and thats it!!! No way period. End of discussion. The people who download and share software aren't going to buy your game, unless it's a game that appeals to them. You can't make em. Even if there was NO FILESHARING/PIRATEING ever, those people wouldn't buy your game ANYWAY.
For example. I have bought every single game that Blizzard
has developed. Some of them ive downloaded first, but eventually ive bought them all. WoW was the only game that totally dissapointed me. But for some people Blizzard makes crappy kiddie games that aren't appealing. They will probably download them, play for a while and then delete or forget about them. They aren't doing any damage to the market share since they never intended to buy those games in the first place. Any other prefered method of thinking about this is just BS. The number of people who pirate games is simply too low to make a difference one way or the other
