As sandboxy as it's supposed to be, you don't have the choice to play a 'bad' bad guy.

He didn't say that you couldn't be a 'bad' bad guy. He just said that there would be repercussions for doing so, as in real life. If you do play as a really bad dude, you'll just have to get your medicine from other means.

That said, I'm not a big fan of time limits, which is essentially what this malaria represents. The last thing I want to worry about when I'm running around the Savannah is taking my medicine.

Side note, Far Cry 2 sounds like a balls up in the making..

"You're not able to kick down their doors and steal it," says Hocking, warning that, if you play the villain, you'd better not take it too far.

That thing about being impressed with info on Knightblade, or Universal Combat, or all the rest of em, doesn't often make it to the part where you actually play... Don't get me wrong, I wish they were a lot better than they are. I tried Universal Combat and even with the manual it was just so convoluted I couldn't find the fun part. If they had more user-friendly interfaces they'd be good, maybe even great games. As it is though, I don't have the hours it takes to learn how to do basic stuff, let alone the days or weeks it takes to really get into the thick of the game.
Huh? I'm sorry, I was thinking about cake.

Not trying to troll, summon, or start a flame war, but... I am impressed with what I've heard seen and read about GC: Knightblade.
