I don't think any game Jerykk plays is quite like everybody else's.... Got that right...

Hopefully sales of these weapons are so poor that they decide it's not worthwhile to continue such a farce.

Um were you playing the same version of Oblivion I was Jerykk? As I had many a horse die. I don't think any game Jerykk plays is quite like everybody else's....

The best horse in the game (as far as I know) is the one you get from the Dark Brotherhood quest line. Its name is Shadowmere and it is in fact invincible. If it ever gets "killed" (or just lost) then you will always find it back at the place where you first got it (can't think of the name of the place right now). All you need to do is fast-travel to that location and -voilá- a new Shadowmere in all its black beauty will be waiting for you. So, yeah, horse armor was fairly pointless if you got the "right" horse. |

Using a steering wheel on a Burnout game is like using the Space Shuttle controls to fly a kite. |

So people didn't care if you had an advantage form horse armor. I don't think the horse armor actually gave you any advantage since your horse was already invincible.

at least that was in a singleplayer-only game. So people didn't care if you had an advantage form horse armor. |

Lol, next thing you know they'll have you buy the ammo.
I'm not so sure the console players will have as much of a problem with it. They bought horse armor, didn't they?

You Commie bastard. How will kids learn that money is a good thing that gets you further in life than others if games don't hammer it home, hmm?
My great, great, great grandfather died fighting the Communists back in 1776. You better recognize. |

Looks like EA has responded and it looks like, yes, there will be some guns that can only be gotten via payment:

I'll go out on a limb and say that this will not go down well with players. Just a hunch. |
