Dawn of War 2 Dawning?

A post on the Gamereplays.org forums points the way to this scan of the teaser page for next month's issue of PC Gamer UK Magazine that seems to hit at a Dawn of War II announcement (thanks Gamer's Hell). The image is a silhouette of what seems to be a space marine from Relic's Warhammer 40,000 RTS game, and the caption reads: "Secret Exclusive - Are you ready for a New Dawn?" More should be revealed soon enough, the issue is set to go on sale on April 10.

I hope they milk this game for fours years just like they did with the expansion! I kid as I'm having fun with the expansions though I hope they can create a more interesting single player experience.

Wah! I can't pirate!

Actually, pirates have a much easier time playing SecuRom-protected games because the SecuRom is removed in their versions...

There is a great wide screen mod I use for dawn of war. I lets you see a lot more of the battlefield then what the default 1680 x 1050. If you go to http://forums.relicnews.com/forumdisplay.php?f=90

There is tips on how to make DoW look its best, everything from increasing texture detail even further to enabling AA and Zoom settings for wide screens.

I just hope they'll manage at least as many units on-screen as Dawn of War.

Shouldn't be a problem. In Company of Heroes, people are rewarded for massing units with Brits/Panzer Elite, especially with the latter and group zeal. I easily see as many units onscreen in CoH as I ever did in DoW. Though it really sucks when the person USING a clump like that has a computer that can't handle it.

The Dawn of War games are fantastic. I really hope Relic and THQ keep this franchise alive. It's a shame Iron Lore went down, Soulstorm is a good entry.

This is indeed good news. I also really like the Warhammer 40k universe. Relic is a blessing to PC gaming.

Dawn of War is the only thing sustaining my interest in gaming at the moment. Maybe I'm just getting old ... but I keep coming back to Dawn of War over and over again.

I don't play that table top game or paint models but I love the world and the detail of the characters.
