When a top of the line video card exceeds the price of the top console, said video card manufacturer will continue to see his market shrink until as such, both (AMD and Nvidea) will eventually merge, sending prices higher, thereby creating the same scenario. Eventually all games and gamers are forced to MS, Sony, Nintendo consoles thereby creating a closed market. So when you can't sell more video cards there are only 2 other ways to make profit: Price increase for cards, driving console prices up or doing more with less resources meaning layoffs.... Of course there is the expansion of the global economy, which is why we outsource. Pump payroll into say, India, in order get funds out there to purchase the consoles. Someday, the global economy will maximize but then prices go up. Global inflation.
We better hurry and find new life on other planets and outsource to them in order to feed console sales.
What the hell did I just say? Must be drunk.
