Ok guys I figured something out with missing wheels on the hummers after latest Crysis patch... This problem only occured when I loaded games saved before the patch. When I restarted the game from scratch with 1.2 patch and reached same place in game all the wheels were showing just fine...

So this could of been just old saved game issue...

Jepp, me too. I am using that 174.16 Forceware driver (meant for 9600 GT only) on my Geforce 8800 GT, which might be related to the problem.

Very strange, back wheels on all the hummers are now invisible, I can shoot at them and the wheels will show up without tires on them but actual tires are invisble since I patched the game...

Also know that the patch disables punkbuster and that re enabling it is not in the multiplayer menu but the game settings screen.

The spectating changes were not what I hoped. I mostly want an eyecam mode but instead we get the ability to pan around the view. But if the player is looking up or down, the camera does not tilt up or down to show you what he's looking at.

The net-code seems to be just as flakey. Walking players mostly move okay but spectating vehicles and choppers is very jerky and sputtery.

On top of that, there is still no team deathmatch or CTF in the game. Also the same old maps are getting very old. Crytek released a map pack but the patch doesn't have those new maps.

Perpetual debt is slavery.

I lost my entire Crysis config when installing this patch. My keyboard setup, my online login and password, and also my graphic setup config. That makes this patch for hardcore gamers only, imo. Crytek acted like this patch was going through extensive testing but losing the entire game configuration is a drastic impact for most people. It can take 20 to 30 minutes to get everything right again.

Also my game has already crashed. I'm using the nVidia 171.23 driver so maybe that is the reason. Apparently only the new 169 driver is the only valid one for this patch. That only backs up my previous assertion that this patch is only for hardcore (pc) gamers.

Also for some unknown reason, my old login and password for the online profile was not working. Yes I tried the password recover but the password given doesn't work. Not trying to get tech support here on bluesnews but just letting you know my experience with this patch is already, after 20 minutes, not good.

Perpetual debt is slavery.

Jumping on enemies in Crysis knocks them down doesn't it though?

I don't think so. You just slide off them and then get shot in the face. Such lost potential.

God's using a billions year old POS if I can get mine to run it smoothly and he can't.

Oh, I've tried... how I've tried. But it never seemed to work.

Just came to me, I was thinking of Dark Messiah.

Or lets me kill enemies by jumping on their head from great heights?

Or makes crabs latch onto enemies' faces when I throw them at them?

Very cool. Lots of the requested fixes and tweaks fixed. Whats great is that they didn't go too "nerf" happy. Well except for against the air vehicles...
