Dunno what people are complaining about. The game looks like great fun. I'm a big fan of 2142 but the lack of enjoyable air combat in that game has kept me away.

Hopefully we'll get widescreen support with this.

My gripes... WW2 game. Ugh. Seriously. Let WW2 go. Plus, cartoonifying WW2 seems a bit..... strange. Stranger than all the other "reenact WW2 while eating popcorn" entertainment forays, even.

After seeing the trailer I lost all my expectations for this game. This in fact maybe worse than a low budget title.

"If they were 'milking' the BF2 franchise, we'd have monthly expansion packs for it like The Sims."

They tried, they were called booster packs and they did not sell well because of the fact they used to release the same thing for free. Did you just forget about those?

See: fragmented community.

A little misleading don't ya think - you mean to tell me, a free game isn't going to have as many "15 year olds who play the game 8 hours a day!?"

Yea right, I see this being WORSE than a game you pay for.

must finish BioShock.....step away from the 360 and play BioShock on PC....

After seeing that video, I think it was wise to go with "free" since it doesn't look like anything someone would pay for.

That said, I'll still give it a shot since it will cost me nothing but some time to try it.

"Makes you wonder what they were focusing on in the other BF games."

I think they were focused on shoveling out as many expansion/booster packs as they can so they could milk more money and fragment the community as much as possible. Nevermind that vanilla BF2 still to this day has bugs in it that they have no desire to fix.

In regards to this BF: Heroes, I could maybe get a bit more excited if it were first person.

I liked Businessivity, but that's about it. The trailer tries too hard, although seeing the footage raises my admittedly rather low hopes for the game.

I did also get a chuckle out of the fact that a cartoon shooter is a shooter that focuses on "fun." Makes you wonder what they were focusing on in the other BF games.

I had to LOL at the guys firing from the plane wings

Same here. Was not expecting that.

If they actually 'bring da funnay', I think it has some potential.

I could see this becoming very popular in the right demographics. The kind of game you may find people playing at work.

I don't really see this becoming too popular.
