Is Here announces the Stardock Forums, announcing the release of Sins of a
Solar Empire, Ironclad's new 4X space strategy game. They have a
Launch
Day FAQ describing how to get your hands on a copy online, in stores, or if
you have preordered. The FAQ mentions a version 1.01 patch that's an 11 MB
download, available automatically.
Thankfully you can start single player games just by yourself. I think I forgot to turn off neutral players so the other planets are defended, but it's a good way to get a feel for the game. Unfortunately when it's just you there no other target for pirate attacks...
I'm enjoying it so far, even if I really don't have much of an idea about what I'm doing. The empire tree really does make controlling things a lot easier, and watching my units do things the smart way (no micro!) is a freakin' dream come true.

Good game, so far...didn't take too long to download via Stardock Central, either.

Looking forward to this. I am 50/50 from what I have seen, but I have never played it.
Im ready to try this game out.
